Who we are, and what this policy covers
OnDutch, Inc. ("OnDutch," "we," "us," or "our") is a New York company. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect personal information across the things we operate: • The Site — ondutch.com, including the brand partnership inquiry form and the newsletter. • Partner Studio — the workspace brands use to work with OnDutch, including onboarding a catalog, answering our questions, and reviewing what we have recorded. This policy covers the information you provide or create while using it, whatever the task. Brands may use Partner Studio directly, or connect its tools to an AI assistant. Our online retail store and mobile application are not yet available to the public. Before either opens, we will update this policy to cover them and publish a new version.
What we collect on the Site
When you submit a brand partnership inquiry through our Contact page, we collect your name and professional role, company name and website, email address, product category, current distribution information, and anything else you choose to tell us about your brand. When you subscribe to launch updates, we collect your email address. When you visit the Site, we may automatically collect your IP address, browser type and version, device type, pages visited and time spent, and referring URL. We do not use cookies for advertising or cross-site tracking.
What we collect in Partner Studio, including through an AI assistant
Partner Studio collects the information you enter and the records it creates as you work with us. Today that is mostly onboarding: When you sign in to Partner Studio through our sign-in provider, we receive your name and work email address, and a record of when you sign in. As you onboard, we collect the questions we ask about your brand and its products and the answers you give: product details, certifications, pricing and distribution facts, and similar business information. Some answers name people at your brand (for example, a fulfillment contact), and we treat those as personal information. If you upload documents to support your answers, such as certificates or price lists, we collect those too. If you connect Partner Studio's tools to an AI assistant, we receive only what those tools are asked to do: which questions were requested, the answers you gave, requests to send your answers for review, and requests for a person at OnDutch to step in. We do not receive, and do not store, the rest of your conversation with the assistant. Your assistant's provider processes that conversation under your agreement with that provider, not under this policy. For security and reliability, we keep short-term records of requests to our systems. We do not currently collect payment details or tax forms through the Site or Partner Studio. If we begin to, this policy will be updated first, and those details will be handled under stricter protections than ordinary onboarding answers. As we add ways to work with OnDutch in Partner Studio, the information involved falls into these same categories. If a genuinely new category arises, this policy changes first (see "Changes and versions").
How we use your information

Inquiry and Partner Studio information is used to assess a partnership, to build and maintain your brand's catalog with us, to carry out the work you do with us in Partner Studio, and to contact you about it. • To send launch updates. If you subscribe, we use your email address to tell you about our launch and related news. Every message includes an unsubscribe link. • To operate, secure, and improve our systems. Technical information and request records help us keep the Site and Partner Studio working and safe. • To respond to you. We use your contact information to answer your inquiries and requests. We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information. We do not share it for advertising, and we do not use it for targeted advertising.
AI and automated processing
Today, our own systems do not run AI models on your information. The AI in the loop is the assistant you bring, and its provider processes your conversation under your terms with them, not under this policy. When our systems do run AI models on your information, they will come from one provider, Anthropic, through its commercial service. Under Anthropic's commercial terms, Anthropic does not train its models on what it is sent and deletes it within thirty days (Anthropic Commercial Terms of Service, "Customer Content"; Anthropic Privacy Center, "How long do you store personal data," July 2026). We chose a single provider so this is a promise you can check, not one you take on faith. Adding another provider would be a significant change, and we would tell you before it took effect. • We do not use your information to train AI models unless you opt in. • Where we use machine learning, a person stays involved in any decision that matters to you. No decision with legal or similarly significant effect on you is made solely by automated means; people at OnDutch decide which brands we carry.
Who else handles your data
We use a small number of service providers to host and run our systems: website hosting, application hosting and infrastructure, database hosting, encryption key management, sign-in, AI model processing, and email delivery, along with the ordinary internal tools we work in. Each provider is bound by contract to protect your information and to use it only to provide its service to us, and all of them store your information in the United States. We do not give any provider more of your information than its role requires. Brand partners can request the current list of providers under their agreement with us, and we will update it when a provider is added or removed.
How we protect it
We use administrative, technical, and physical safeguards appropriate to the information we hold, including encryption of data in transit and at rest, access limited to the people at OnDutch who need it, and sign-in protection on Partner Studio. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. If we learn of a breach affecting your personal information, we will notify you and any authority we are required to notify, within the time the law requires.
How long we keep it
• Brand partnership inquiries — while we evaluate the partnership and for as long as the relationship lasts, or until you ask us to delete it. • Newsletter email addresses — until you unsubscribe or ask to be removed. • Your Partner Studio records — onboarding answers, your catalog, and the work you do with us there — for the life of the partnership and the period after it that your brand agreement sets, then deleted. • Uploaded documents — documents that support your record are kept with it; working copies used only to process a document are removed after processing; anything that fails our checks is held apart from your record and removed. • Request records — a limited period for security and troubleshooting, then deleted. • Technical information from Site visits — kept in aggregate form, not linked to you.
Your rights
Whoever you are and wherever you live, you can ask us to: • Access the personal information we hold about you, and receive a copy of it. • Correct anything inaccurate or incomplete. • Delete your personal information from our records. • Stop newsletter and marketing communications at any time. • Explain how your information is used. Write to us at the address below. We may ask you to confirm your identity before acting. We respond within 30 days; if a request is complex, we will tell you and may take up to a further 30 days. Exercising your rights never affects the price or quality of what we offer. If you are a California resident, you also have the right under the California Consumer Privacy Act, as amended, to know the categories and specific pieces of personal information we collect, to request deletion, to correct inaccuracies, and to opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information. We do not sell personal information and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising, so there is nothing to opt out of. If you use our Site or services from outside the United States, your information will be transferred to, stored, and processed in the United States, where data protection laws may differ from those of your jurisdiction.
Children
Our Site and services are for businesses and adults and are not directed to anyone under 16. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If we learn that we have, we delete it promptly.
Changes and versions
